Super Bowl XLVI and National Gymastics Championship
Super Bowl XLVI and the National Gymnastics Championship
Creating the Super Bowl poster for the XLVI Super Bowl was a great experience. I was selected from many entries, and was chosen given the exciting energy and the graphic narrative that my piece brought to the celebration of this renowned event. The piece to me visually illustrates the major elements and place were the game was to take place. The poster was done for the 2012 Super Bowl, and the studio still hears from people on a regular basis about the piece.
National Gymnastics Championship
This special sporting event is a great example of how we can visually narrate the excitement and celebration connected with a national sporting venue. We also tie the main visual piece to many aspects of the event creating not only continuity, but a visual icon that can be used throughout the event and for merchandizing as well.
Walter was commissioned to create artwork for the new corporate offices of Forvis Mazar, a leading global professional services network in Indianapolis. The signature piece, Deinceps Cogitandi, greets visitors in the lobby and is a narrative of Forvis Mazars which speaks to the company’s 100+ year legacy.
Introducing the Knabe Mankowitz Collection Collaboration to Commemorate Legendary Rock Musicians. Walter and renowned British rock and roll photographer, Gered Mankowitz, have collaborated to create the Knabe Mankowitz Collection a limited edition artwork series.
Riley Children’s Hospital was looking to add a positive uplifting visual component that would be placed throughout several long hallways to provide a pleasant distraction to weight of the hospital atmosphere.
