Inspired by a portrait photograph taken by Gered Mankowitz for the London Observer magazine feature on The Rolling Stones 1982 World Tour, Keith ’82 captures Keith Richards in his unmistakable rock-and-roll element.
The artwork reflects Richards’ electric and ethereal presence through a muted lavender background and copper-patina green jacket. His iconic affinity for skull imagery appears in the necklace, while the textured, gritty treatment of his face conveys the charisma and edge that define his enduring persona.
The 24” x 24” artwork is an edition of 200, signed by both Walter Knabe and Gered Mankowitz. Created using Walter's signature hand-crafted screen printing and hand-painted detail on heavy, tactile paper.
A certificate of authenticity, signed by both Walter Knabe and Gered Mankowitz, will be provided along with the purchase of the screen print.

Hand crafted original artwork, developed layer by layer in an approach similar to how Walter develops his original paintings.
